Blue Moon by Karla Alexander is such a beautiful quilt...to me. This is the one I made.
This is only the quilt top, I still need to baste, quilt and bind it. I really had fun picking out all of the colors that varied from dark purple to pale green. I lost count on how many colors there are but I sure would have liked to use more variety. Batiks are so much fun to work with, there are so many choices in colors and designs.
Now that I have three quilt tops finished I need to get busy basting them all (I hate that part of the process) and free motion quilt all of them (I love that part of the process).
The gardens are taking off plus I started a large vegetable garden too. I know, too many "irons" in the fire but I love fresh vegetables. Hopefully I will have enough to can this fall.
Hope you are all enjoying your spring weather!
Peace, Marsha :-)

Very pretty quilt! Good job. I also, dislike the basting, but LOVE the free-motion quilting.
BTW, your design (side border) on your blog has some interesting colors. I've noticed many of these designs have a lovely sense of color.
Hello!!! I'm back!!!! Nice to see you are still quilting away. Love the colors of this one and the one below it! Beautiful work as usual>
Nice to have you back! Hope to be reading more from you. :-)
Yes, basting is a pain but it is one of the most important steps. Good basting makes for an easier job of FMQ.
