Hot Summer Night

This is my interpretation of a "Hot Summer Night". It is an art quilt that was made from a flash of an idea and was so much fun. The free motion quilting is from variegated thread.

I am still working on my Drunkards Path however I am happy to say that the blocks are finished and they are getting sewn together with the sashing. This has been the most difficult quilt to finish which is so ironic because the blocks are the easiest to make! Why, oh, why is this quilt refusing to be created???

I am looking forward to the next project. I'm sure it will be much easier.
