Just a bit of a post...

It has been a couple of weeks since I last posted. The Christmas season is so busy for all of us and on top of that life. It has been 10 months since moving into my home. I love living here and have so many blessings to count. I hope everyone remembers their blessings this season. There is so much to be thankful for, I especially thank our troops for protecting us with their lives.

OK, that being put into print, here is a sample of the free motion quilting I have a passion for.

I am thinking of doing a whole cloth quilt in this, maybe some more focus on design, maybe not. Am I crazy???? Probably but this is what my heart beats for when I think of quilting. Well that and Batiks!!

Off to work............oh, really now......;-)

Hi Marsha,

Rhonda, I have thought of doing a tutorial but I am really not sure how to. I guess it is one of those things that I will just have to "jump in to" and do. It really is one of my passions. There is just a zone you can get into with your machine where everything just clicks. Practice really helps but practice on things that you are going to use. This will make you accountable for improving your work. I practice on wallhangings, place mats and tablerunners that makes the large quilts easier to do.

Thanks for your encouragement.

Hi Liz, Glad you like it. I still need to work on a design for a whole cloth quilt, which is the hard part for me. It is so much easier to sit down and just go. No thought process, just start quilting. Maybe I should try some general marking and work from there...:-) Thanks for your kind words!

One of these years I would love to do a wholecloth quilt too!

God Bless you and yours!!!
